This course is designed for all who wish to love Jesus more deeply and follow Him more fervently in and through the Holy Spirit; for those who are interested in spiritual theology and the path of the soul toward union with God; and for those preparing to work in the vineyard of the Lord – Come and learn about authentic Christian discipleship!

Dr Denise Clare Oliver and Dr Christina Pal lead the teaching team for this course. Prior to joining the School of the Annunciation (SotA), Dr Oliver was a professor at the Pontifical University of St Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome, teaching courses in Spiritual Theology for the Licentiate programme. Dr Christina Pal has a Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of St Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome. Prior to joining SotA, Dr Pal was an adjunct professor for the Augustine Institute and for Christendom College’s Rome programme, teaching courses in Apologetics and Catholic Moral Theology.

When does it start? 

The Conference begins at 5.00pm on Thursday 8 August and finishes at lunchtime on Sunday 11 August. Full Room and Board included in the cost. The programme is designed to include lectures and seminars set within the rhythm of daily prayer of the resident Benedictine monastic community.

Accommodation: Northgate House

The course takes place in the tranquillity of the monastic surroundings, on the banks of the beautiful river Dart, and includes full board and en-suite accommodation at Buckfast Abbey's Northgate House

How much does it cost?    

Cost of the conference: The fee for the four days is £345. This fee includes accommodation and full board at Buckfast. In addition, there is a non-refundable registration fee of £50.

Early Bird Discount: £50 off for those who register and pay in full before 15 May, 2019.

Day-rate (lectures & lunch included): £60.
